The Finest in the Land

It was Kipper's sixth biethday. The band played Happy Birthday. "That was brilliand," said Kipper. "I didn't know you are such good musicians." "Of course we are," said Wlima."We are the finest in the land."(p.32)

Kipper said, "I'm six next week". Every one around Kipper planed to formed band to Kipper, and play Happy Birthday. But they didn't have enough time to practice. Then, the magic took the children on another adventure. It tool them to the the Middle Ages. There were entertainers. Suddenly a man on a horse rode up. He said, "you shold be at the castle bu now." Edith is King's daughter. She can't marry because his hather don't want her to marry. So, the children help her.

I think that yhe children are veru kind to people and friendly. This story made me happy. Edith could marry by children's help.

State of Minnesota

     I will talk about the state of Minnesota. My friends are going to Minnesota this summer, so I'm interested in Minnesota too. Minnesota located midwestern in America, and share a border with Canada. Minnesota's climate is continental climate, so temperature is going up and down. Minnesota has four habitats. Reasently, some animals are influenced by suburban development. The capital city is Saint Paul. Saint Paul and Minneapolis are called Twin Cities. People in Minnesota are very friendly and kind to you.

There are a lot of sightseeing spots in Minnesota. I recommend you to visit Minnesota Marine Art Museum. We can enjoy some arts in this place. There aren't a lot of people there, so visitors can view arts slowly. There are only 6 rooms which displayed arts work. it's great little museum. Visitors can experience some attractions which use an optical illusion. Children can enjoy this place too, so this museum is very popular sightseeing spot. If you want to try activity in Minnesota, I recommend to visit Character Challenge Course. You can active in  nature in Minnesota. There are some dangerous activities too, but stuff are very kind to visitors and we can enjoy safety. This spot is family oriented.
The most famous spot is The city of  Bloomington. There are wild animal reserve and Japanese garden. It's very beautiful city and people are very friendly. There are a lot of shops. Surprisingly, shopper don't have to pay consumption tax when they buy some clothes or shoes. There is the biggest amusement park in America at the center of shopping mall. It will make you happy.

Next, I will introduce food. "Lucy Lucy" is very famous hamburger in Minnesota. Cheese is knead into dough. It has high calories, but very populous. "Walleye" and "Wild Rise" are famous too. Walleye is fish. This is not saled in market, so fish shop of native American only get it. Wild Rise is different from Jamapanese rise. It have different textures like nuts. Wild Rise is rich in nutrients, so Wild Rise is more expensive than White Rise. People in Minnesota usually eat fast food, and they has some problems about fatness. Recently, people are becoming health consucious in Minnesota.

There are a lot of museums in Minnesota. For example, Minneapolice Insutitute of Arts and Warler Arts Center. Thease museums are very famous in the world, pople can enjoy dance and waching moovie. Minnesota Orchestra and Minneapolice Symphony Orchestra are pro band. They join the concert in Minnesota, and this concert is most popular concert in America.

This Weekend

This weekend is very hard for me because part time job was very hard. Customer had just got salary, so a lot of people came to our restaurants. I'm working at Aloha Natural Hawaiann Beer Garden, and price of some foods and drinks are little expensive. I was very tired. But, cumulative sales are 150,0000!! It was very wonderful, owner in this restaurant was looked very happy. This is friday and saturday's story.

BR Green Island

"What will happen to the seagull?" asked Wilf. "It's feathers will be damaged," said Mrs Honey. "So first we'll clean the oil off. Then we'll look after it for a week or two. It has to get strong again,and its feathers have to get better. Then we'll let it go." (p,13)

This story about Mr Johnson's class went to a big house called Seabay House. There are a lot of interesting things to do. One day, children found seagull couldn't fly. It can't fly because it has oil on its feathers. Oil is hard to get off. Mr Johnson took the children to see Mrs Honey. Children helped to gett off oil from seagull,but Oil is terrible stuff. Children felt really sorry for the seagull.
I think that this story made children to think about enviromental problem.

BR KUNG FU PANDA 2

"It's good to meet you, Panda,"said Shen. "And now I'm going to kill you!" Shen had his cannon, but Po and the Furious Five were fast. Before Shen could stop them, they broke the cannon. (p, 27)

I read KUNG FU PANDA 2 today. I have watched 1but I haven't never read book. One day, Po know that his father isn't his real father, and his mother put him in a box when Po was a baby. He was very sad and angry for his mother. Then his Kung fu teacher how to fight with Shen. He decided to fight!! After that, Po noticed that his mother loved him. His mother put him in the box to save Po. Eventually, Po and Furious Five went home. Po was happy to see his dad.

In this weekend

I will write about this weekend. I went to part time job on saturday. It was very hard for me because there were a lot of customers, so I have to run while I was working. I felt strong muscle pain when I went back home. But, I may diet by running when I'm working, so it's OK. And, I like busy working than not busy working because time spend fast. I had to sell some products of KAO. KAO is Japanese famous company. This company sell kind of wash powder. This work is not busy every time. So time spend very slowly, and I was very boring.

BR King Midas and the Gold

"My son is a god," said the old man. "He can give you a wish." " I love gold," said King Midas. "I wish I could touch things and turn them to gold."(pp8 9 10 11)

There is a King Mindas. He likes gold very　much. One day, he met an old man, the old man forgot how to back home. So, the king helped the old man. The old man's son was god. Then, the son gave the king the power he can make gold. This lively retelling of a classc Greek myth has easy to -read text and fun puzzles to try after the story.

BR The Dragon and the Phoenix

    It landed on the ground and became a shining lake. The dragon and the phoenix lay beside it. They are still there today. (pp,24 25)

Once upon a time, there was a dragon, a phoenix. One day, they found a very special pebble. dragon washed it and ohoenix pollished it. They stayed the island pebble was puttted, but Queen was seeing from the sky. She sent a guard to steal it. But, dragon and phoenix found pebble.Eventually,
 they could guard the pebble.

I was surprised she sent guard to steal it even if she is queen. This is old chinese story. But, This book have happy end, so I'm happy.

She's Funny That Way, and Other Matters...

Today, I watched the trailer for She's Funny That Way. I didn't know this movie but it look interesting!! I was surprised some women's bit a man.

I did my homework in this weekend, so I didn't go anywhere. But, I went to having dinner with my friends. I ate "Basashi". It's famous food in Kumamoto and I was very happy to eat this. After that, we went to shopping because my friend want to buy shouses. But the shouses he wants have already sold.

BR I Always Win!

Tyler looks at Ryan's bike. "Is that a new bike, Ryan?" he asks. "Yes," Ryan says. "Do you like it?" Tyler said, "You have a good bike, but I'm going to win. Let's have a good race," " Yeah," Ryan replies. "I'll see you at the finish line." (p.8)

         This is the story of two boys. They are both good riders. One day, they join race game. They want to win each other!! Tyler's friends cheer up him, and Ryan's father said "I want you to go faster than last year. You will win !!" to him. He had worry, but he says " Yes, Dad." Eventually, they had a good race. But Ryan pushed Tyler at the gate. I think Ryan was feeling responsible by his father's worlds. I remember when I was a University hopeful. Sometimes, support or encouragement make us suffering. But, I know cheat is not good!!

The Martian, the Women's World Cup, and other matters...

Today, I watched the trailer for Martian, a movie starring Matt Damon. It's astronaut's story. He was thought that he died, but actually he was arriving. English in this movie is fast, so it's difficult for me. But, this movie look interesting so I want to watch it!!

I went to part time job in this weekend. I had to sale some snack from Burubon. This work such as sale something in the supermarket is first time for me. I have been worked at restaurant. So, I had little tension but if I talk with customer about product I sale, customer sale!! This time made me happy, so it's good experience for me.

Steve Jobs, the Women's World Cup, and other matters....

  On saturday, I had to go part time job. But, it was rain so the shop couldn't open. Instead, I did home work and I spent time relaxed. I had a lot of things to do on this weekend, so it was good for me. I watched music TV program with my family. It was very funny for me too.

By the way, I worked at Hawaian Natural Beer Garden. It's in PARUCO, and it's in out side. So, we can't open when it's rain. We have big rain a lot of time. So my salary is very low in this month.

State of Vermont

I will introduce about state of Vermont because I want to go there someday.
Vermont is one of the US. The origin of this name is unknown, but "Vermont" comes from "Les Verts Monts". "Les Verts Monts" is french.
Average temperatures in Vermont is 6℃. Summer is hot, and we can see beautiful autumn during the fall. Turkey bemome extinct because influence of hunting and destroying habitat range. According statistics of US, the population of Vermont is about 626,011, and 94.3 ％ is white person. Average age is 40.7 years old in 2005. This is the second oldest all over the US. Vermont is known about the state have a little bit of religious atmosphere. Almost of peoole in Vermont is christian.
Apple and maple syrup are famous in Vermont. In Japan, Vermont curry is very famous as you know. There are the health management method use some apples and maple syrup when people cook. Japanese company puted this method into practice in Japan.

Population in Vermont isn't largest, so nature in vermont is well preserved. There are a lot of crofts, and the number of cows are higher than population in vermont. BEN＆JERRY'S is famous company of ice cream in America, this company establish a base at Vermont. We can enjoy seaasonally nature in Vermont, so I think Vermont is quite similar to Japan. We can try ski and snowboard, another sports in winter. There are about 30 ski areas, and orinpic ski champion is people in Vermont every time!! Spring and summer is the best season of outdoor. People in Vermont enjoy  water sports in this season. There are a lot of sightseeing spots, but I recommend to go Burglington park because we can cycling and enjoy wonderful view. There are some restaurants in this area, so we can have lunch in this places!!

In the 60s, hippie hope free and peace came to Vermont, and they became to live there. BEN＆JERRY I have already introduced or Green Mountain Coffee are expanding into Vermont. These company emphasize the quality of their products and fair trade for small farm family. So we can see many restaurants and shops treat organic foods in burnlington.

There is Vermont University in the Burnlington. Vermont University produce nobel award winner. This university has the fifth oldest univesity in the state. There are a lot of nature aroud the university. This university has 12000 students and it's midium scale, but there are variety of subjects. Aoyama Gakuinn University have a sister university agreement with Vermont University.

Laughing Moon Chocolates is famous guift shop. This is specialized shop offering chocolates, and stuff are very friendly. This shop is in Stow. Iwant to go there when I go to Vermont.

BR Monkeys

They have pretend fights. Then they make up with their friends.They play all day, until it gets dark. Then they cuddle up on branches... and sleep until morning.(p,45)

This is about the monkey's life. There is no story, but we could know monkey's life. I think that monkey's baby are same with human baby, because they learn alot of things by playing. I want to read more difficult book than this book next time.

Kung Fu Panda 2, Kung Fu Panda 3, and other matters...

Today, I watched the movie trailers for Kung Fu Panda 2, and Kung Fu Panda 3. I think that Kung Fu Panda 3 is more interesting than Kung Fu Panda 2. I want to watch this movie with my friends. This weekend, I went to part time job. Yesterday is father's day, so an invent of father's day was held for small children. I worked at there as stuff. The work wasn't interesting itself, but children were very pretty so I could enjoy it. 

BR The Scaredy Cat

 

The lady gave Stanly a special reward for catching the burglar. From then on, Stanley wasn't afraid of anything. And no one called him a scaredy cat ever again. (pp,46 47)

Stanley was scared of everything. He was called "Scredy Cat" from everyone. One day, Stanley and his friends found a mouse. His friends were going to catch a mouse, but mouse ran into a house. They went into a house, Stanley followed his friends inside. Stanley scared of every thing in the house. His friends were amazed at him. But, He caught the burglar in the house!! A lade in the house gave him special reward to him.

I think Stanley is nervous. But, he could get rid of afraid of every thing. So this story made me happy!!

BR The Peach Boy

   

Suddenly, the peach split in two. Inside, there was a little boy! " What a lovely child," said the old woman. " Let's call him Peach Boy."(pp,10 11)

This story is Japanese traditional story, and everyone may know. Once upon a time, an old man and an old woman lived by a river. One day, old woman found a big peach. She brought the peach to their house. They was going to eat the peach, but a there were little boy in the peach!!

I don't know foreign people know this story, but I want foreign people to read this story in English or Japanese!! This is Japanese traditional story, and this story will teach justice win to children!!

BR The Musicians of Bremen

The donkey stood near the window. The dog leaped on the donkey's back. The cat climbed on top of the dog. And the rooster flew on top of the cat.

Once upon a time, there was a very mean man. One day, the man was going too put rooster in the pot and eat him for lunch. That evening, thr rooster crowed as hard as he could. They were going to Bremen and join the town band. On the way of Bremen, they found a cottage.

I know this story since when I was a child. The man is very mean, so rooster was sufferd by the man. But, the end of this story made me happy because they could began to peaceful life!!

BR The Genie in the Bottle

The fisherman laughed. "You'd never fit", he said. "Watch," said the genie. And the fisherman pushed the stopper in hard. (pp.20 21)

This story is about a fisherman, and a BIG bad genie. Once upon a time, a fisherman went fishing. Then he met a BIG bad genie. The genie was going tro eat him, so he thought getting the genie back in the bottle.

I know that similar story. It's "Aladdin". Althogh story is similar, the genie isn't bad genie. The story I read now have happy end too, but I like "Aladdin" than " The Genie in the Bottle.

Mission:Impossible...and other matters

      Today, I watched the Mission Impossible. I know this movie, but I have never watched this movie. Because, I have been thought that this movie isn't interesting very much. I'm not interesting in action movie, but my thinking was change!! I want to try to watch this movie. Probably, I can't understand English in this movie because it's very fast and difficult. So I will watch this movie in English after I watch it in Japanese.
I went to junior high school next to this university in this weekend. I taught easy English grammar to some junior high school students. They had to study English for the examination, so they have a lot of question about English grammar. I have no experiences I teach English for younger people. Especially, I think that junior high school students are very powerful and little noisy. But, they were very good students and they were very pretty. I could to enjoy that time!!
